Abstract
The purpose of this paper was to review literature on Blending Indigenous Healing Approaches and Mainstream Traditional Approaches, specifically for intergenerational trauma. Indigenous people have endured many forms of assimilation that continues to impact their health, safety and well being. It
appears mainstream healing approaches are ineffective on its own, a plausible solution would be to blend Indigenous healing approaches into appropriate mainstream healing methods. |
