This article discusses the possibility of the Canadian government engaging in an agreement with the Indian government to allow a certain number of South Asian immigrants to enter Canada each year while also passing an amendment to the immigration act that would prohibit any other --Asiatic-- immigration (including South Asians, Japanese, and Chinese) not already provided for under such an agreement or treaty.
