Biography

I joined UFV as Assistant Professor on tenure-track in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics in 2015. I received my Ph.D in Statistics from Simon Fraser University in 2014 and was awarded a MITACS Elevate Postdoctoral fellowship. I have been a statistical consultant for different industrial companies, hospitals and government agencies, and has many years of experience in analyzing real-world messy data.
