Add unbeaten eggs and beat until smooth. Measure banana pulp and if necessary add enough cold water to make 14 cups. Add to creamed mixture. Sift dry ingredients and blend in whole wheat flour. Add all at once to first mixture along with wal- nuts, mixing as lightly as possible. Bake in 9x5 pan for one hour at 350°F. Cool 5 minutes and then turn out on wire rack. Heat oven to 350°F. Pour boiling water over butter in mixing bowl, stir until melted. Add rind, juice, dates, sugar, flavorings, egg and nuts. Stir in flour, soda, baking powder and salt, mix well.
