Dr. Norman MacKenzie, Presi- dent of the University of British Columbia, conferred with Premier John Hart dur- ing the past week with a view to working out plans for the provision of tem- porary accommodation for return- ed demobilized men and women from the services wishing to finish their university courses. Indications point to a very heavy increase in enrolment as a result of demobilization with the result that temporary provision will have to be made to meet the great influx of students to the University. Apart from the temporary pro- visions, an expansion of labora- tory facilities also will be in- cluded.
