The Ladies Circle of the Upper Sumas Mission met at the home of Mrs. F. Aish on Tuesday, Sept. 23, with eleven members present. Mes. Porter Jr. was appointed on the work committee to succeed Mrs. L. V. Kenney, who is leaving the district. A Missionary article on Evangelistic work in SMantung, China, was read by Mrs. R. Har- ris. Mrs. Fred Corbett gave @ help- ful devotional on the subject of “Eternal Life”. Refreshments were served at the close.
