BEEF STROGANOFF 1-1/2 lbs. top of round 2 small onions, chopped 1/4 cup flour 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced 1 tsp. salt 1 clove garlic, chopped fine 1/4 tsp. MSG 2 tbsp. flour 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. Worcestershire 4 tbsp. fat 1 cup sour cream Noodles Cut beef in finger length pieces and roll in flour seasoned with salt, pepper and MSG. Brown meat in 2 tbsp. of the fat. Add half a can of bouillon, cover and simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender. In meantime cook onions, garlic and mushrooms gently in remaining fat. Blend in 2 tbsp. flour and add remaining bouillon, stirring until mixture thickens. Add Worcestershire. Just before serving time cook noodles. Combine cooked steak and mushroom mixture and add sour cream. Heat slowly until gravy simmers. Serve with noodles. CELESTINE CHICKEN 1 frying chicken, cut up or chicken parts 1/2 cup honey 1/3 cup prepared mustard 1 tsp. curry powder Line baking pan with foil. Place chicken on rack in pan. Cover with combined honey, mustard and spice. Bake uncovered in a 350°F oven for 1 hour or until chicken is tender. Baste 2 or 3 times with the sauce. Serves 3 - 4. POT ROAST IN FOIL 4 or 5 lb. pot roast whole carrots Heavy weight foil whole onions i stalk celery with salt, pepper leaves, chopped crumbled bay leaf Place roast in centre of a large sheet of foil on a shallow pan. Place meat under broiler (3" from heat) and brown on all sides. Season and add prepared vegetables and bay leaf. Wrap roast in foil, sealing all edges with a double fold to form a tight package. Bake for approximately 2-1/2 to 3 hours at 300°F. (or 4 hours at 250°F), After cooking, care- fully lift out whole vegetables. Pour juices into a saucepan. Bring to rapid boil.
