36 Marr’s SALAD DRESSING RECIPE Boox YEAR AROUND SALAD 1 package lemon flavored gelatin 1 pint (2 cups) hot tomato juice 1 tablespoon vinegar 4 teaspoon salt ¥ cup shredded cabbage 1 cup finely cut celery 2 tablespoons chopped green peppers Dissolve gelatin in hot tomato juice, add vinegar and 4 tea- spoon salt. Chill until slightly thickened. Season remaining in- gredient with 14 teaspoon salt, fold into slightly thickened gelatin. Turn into individual molds. Chill until frm. SARDINE SALAD 1 can sardines in oil 2 eggs, hard boiled Marr’s Salad Dressing Lettuce Remove fish from can, keeping them whole. Drain off excess oil. Cut eggs lengthwise through the centre, after removing shells and divide each half into thirds lengthwise. Arrange sections of egg in groups of three on lettuce leaves to form a circle with points to centre. Place whole sardine between sections of egg with tails lapping at centre. APPLE AND ONION SALAD 2 medium sized onions, finely chopped 3 tart red apples, unpared, aa 1 dill pickle, chopped Lemon juice or cider Marr’s Old Fashion Boiled Salad Dressing Combine pickle, onion and apple. Sprinkle with lemon j juice and let stand for at least 30 minutes. Toss lightly with Marr’s Old Fashion Boiled Salad Dressing to moisten and serve on lettuce or as a relish with meat. Mrs. J. 8S.
