Headlines/September 2, 1998 UCFV On-line Newsletter UCFV’s web site is not only chock-full of content — it has its own newsletter, too! The UCFV Web Committee (or WebCom), being chaired this year by Assistant Registrar Rory Kine, has “published” an on-line newsletter, entitled WebCom@uc/\. The first edition was created by UCFV Web Administrator. Bryan Daniel, and Martin Cocking who was with Community . Relations in a fill-in capacity until last June. The electronic - newsletter has several goals: * to communicate the activities of the UCFV World Wide Web committee; * to increase awareness of the UCFV website within the UCFV community; * to provide tips, tricks and techniques for website design; * to identify and link to interesting new or revised UCFV | Sites. If you’re interested in creating a webpage, at whatever level, and on the WWW in general, check out www.ucfv.be.ca/webcom/. While you’re there, take a look at the Guidelines for UCFV Website. Just click on word Gazette which will take you to a listing of items, including Guidelines. WebCom would like your input on these guidelines, which will be used in the shaping and administration of UCFV’s website, before they are officially adopted. Please submit any comments to Dave Stephen, Community Relations, Abbotsford, or e-mail: stephend by September 20.
