14 Marr’s SALAD DreEssING REcIPE Book DELUXE TOMATO SALAD 1 cup canned tomato soup 14 cup cold water 1 chopped green pepper 14 pound cream cheese 3 tablespoons lemon juice 11% tablespoons gelatin 1 cup chopped celery 2 tablespoons tomato catsup 1 cup Marr’s Wonder Whip Salad Dressing 1 minced onion Soften gelatin in cold water. Bring soup to a boil and add cheese. Stir until cheese is melted then add gelatin. Chill. Add the chopped vegetables, catsup, lemon juice and Marr’s Wonder Whip Salad Dressing. Place in refrigerator to jell. Serve on lettuce leaves and garnish with olives and Marr’s Wonder Whip Salad Dressing. Mrs. H. W. Hopkinson, Winnipeg, Man. TOMATO JELLY SALAD 1 package jelly powder, red _—_1 can tomato soup Pinch of salt and pepper 1 cup of boiling water 1 hard boiled egg 14 cup peas, cooked Dissolve jelly in boiling water, add soup and seasoning. Stir well. Slice egg, put one slice in each jelly mold, sprinkle a few peas on egg. Pour tomato jelly in. Let cool. Serve on lettuce leaf. Take one tablespoon of Marr’s Boiled Dressing and one tablespoon of Marr’s Oil Dressing, mix with a little cream. Put around base of tomato jelly. You may put the salad dressing in an icing tube. MACARONI SALAD 1 cup cooked macaroni (cut in half lengths) 1 chopped green pepper 1% teaspoon salt 4 cup Marr’s Salad Dressing 4 cup Marr’s Famous Sandwich Spread Drain macaroni thoroughly.
