CKY. Hundreds of splendid recipes were submitted and
after careful trial and selection, she broadcast these prize
winning recipes. Selection of the recipes was based on
several considerations, sometimes the matter of simplicity
rather than an elaborate recipe, availability of the required
ingredients, appropriateness as to time, Valentine Day,
St. Patrick’s Day, etc.

Because of the emphasis placed by nutritionists on the
value of raw fruits and vegetables this salad book is of
very special worth and the makers of Marr’s Salad Dress-
ing felt that it was an obligation to make these wonderful
recipes available in this form and wish to thank very much
all those who contributed recipes to the program and who

indly permitted their use in this booklet.
