CHOCOLATE DREAM CAKE Anne Smith
1/2 c. melted butter or margarine

1 egg 1/2 c. flour

3/4 c. chopped nuts 2 Tbsp. cocoa

1c. brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix butter, sugar, andegg. Then add rest of ingredients. Bake
in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.

While hot, ice with chocolate icing:

Icing sugar 2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 Tbsp. butter | 1 or 2 Tbsp. hot water
1 tsp. almond extract
CRUMB CAKE Mrs. L. Nordby
2c. flour 1/2 tsp. soda
1c. sugar 2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. butter 1 tsp. cloves
1 egg 1 tsp. cinnamon
1c. sour milk 1c. raisins

Rub flour, butter and sugar to crumbs. Take out 1c. of crumbs
for top of cake. Mix‘the rest of the first three ingredients with

all other foods. Pour mixture into a level-greased fairly shallow
pan, cover top with the 1 cup of crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees F.
