Sift flour, soda and spice. With fork, thoroughly beat sugar and egg. Stir in honey, then flour mixture. Form batter into balls, roll-in extra granulated sugar, and place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes. Let cool before removing. OATMEAL COOKIES Michelle Hyslop il 1 c. flour | 1/2 c. white sugar 1 c. quick rolled oats 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 egg | 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla ™ 1/4tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar for 1/2 c. butter tops of cookies Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda and salt in mixing bowl. In another bowl, put butter, sugars, ope and vanilla. Beat with electric beater. Add flour mixture to butter mixture and beat well. Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts. Dip the top of balls in sugar and place sugar side up, 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
