UCF'V Sun Run team 29 members strong | Fitness Challenge 2000 might have something to do with inspiring a record number of UCFV employees to sign up for the Sun Run. A very strong contingent of 29 UCFV employees will be taking part in the Vancouver Sun Run on April 25, representing UCFYV in the corporate team section of the run. The 10 km run/walk — the third largest of its kind in the world — attracted over 40,000 participants in 1998. The UCFV group consists of walkers, joggers, and runners. Community Relations and Development is the department with the highest participation rate, with five CRDers planning to run. Continuing Education has four participants, while Student Services, . A&R, and the Library have three participants each. Team coordinator Dave Stephen sends thanks to Barry Bompas and Employee.
