Limitep CHOCOLATE CAKE 1 cup Sugar 2 Eggs, separated 11% cups Sifted Pastry Flour ¥Y% cup Mazola 2 teaspoons Baking Powder 24 Cup Milk 14 teaspoon Salt 1 teaspoon Vanilla Cook together, cool and add last, 4 tablespoons Cocoa, or 2 2 tablespoons Sugar squares Bitter Chocolate 11% tablespoons Milk IFT together all dry ingredients. Drop in egg yolks, Mazola, milk and vanilla and stir until well mixed. Add cooked mixture. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in layer or loaf pan. LAYER CAKE 2 Eggs ¥Y% cup Mazola 1 cup Sugar 2 cups Sifted Pastry Flour 34 teaspoon Salt 3 teaspoons Baking Powder 34 cup Water | teaspoon Flavoring EAT eggs and sugar until light and thick. Beat in Mazola, add water, and dry ingredients alter- nately. Add flavoring, and pour into lightly oiled layer pans. Bake twenty to twenty-five minutes in a hot oven. Chocolate, Marshmallow, or Fruit Icing is desirable for the above cake. 18
