Marr’s SALAD DRESSING RECIPE Book 23 CARROT SALAD 5 medium sized firm new carrots __ 6 sticks of celery 1 small onion 3 hard boiled eggs Shred carrots finely, add chopped celery and chopped onion. Slice eggs and add vegetables along with Marr’s Wonder Whip Salad Dressing or Marr’s Old Fashion Boiled Salad Dressing. Season to taste. Mrs. George McIntosh, Winnipeg, Man. PEACH BASKET SALAD 1 can peaches 1 apple, peeled and chopped 2 stalks celery, chopped fine Chopped nuts Maraschino cherries Lettuce leaves Marr’s Wonder Whip Salad Dressing Drain peaches from their syrup and arrange on a leaf of lettuce, one for each serving. Fill cavities with mixture of apple, celery and nuts moistened with Salad Dressing. Cut thin strips of celery from the ends of the stalks and insert in the peaches in the form of handles. vis ea with a spoonful of Salad Dressing and top with a Maraschino cherry. Mrs. W. H. SHAMROCK SALAD 2 large green peppers 1 large package cream cheese l4 cup chopped walnut meats 2 tablespoons stuffed olives 2 tablespoons cream Salt and pepper to taste Remove the stem end from the peppers and scrape out the seeds and cores. Let the peppers stand in cold water for two hours then drain and pack full of the cheese, nuts, olives creamed together, then season to taste and moisten with cream. Let stand to become very firm. Then slice across in one quarter inch pieces. Pour over Marr’s Wonder Whip Salad Dressing and serve two slices to each person on a nest of lettuce hearts. Garnish with radish roses. Mrs. L.
