Since Edith Adams’ Cottage opened
its doors in January, 1947, more than a mil-
lion recipes have gone out to Sun readers and
others who have requested them — in the newspaper,
in cookbooks, on free leaflets, in personal letters. Indeed,
a whole generation has grown up on the good meals
inspired by Edith Adams!

Help in every-day meals has been important, but
