Co Bet * c. shortening
* tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. icing sugar

Mix as for pie crust and press in bottom of greased 9" square
pan and bake for 10 minutes at 350°F.

1c. brown sugar & C. coconut

Beat eggs well, then gradually beat in brown sugar. Add
remaining ingredients and mix well. Spread on top of baked cooled
mixture and bake 25 = 30 minutes at 350°F. Ice if desired whencool.

Mix as for oie crust. Press in greased 9" square pan.
Topping -
2 eggs +c. chopped cherries (red and green)
= tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder
= tsp. vanilla * C. coconut
1c. brown sugar z c. chopped walnuts
= Ibsp. flour

Beat eggs well, then gradually beat in brown sugar. Mix in
remaining ingredients and bake in moderate oven 25 - 30 minutes.
When cool, ice with butter icing colored pink or green.
