Marr’s SALAD DrEssING REctPE Boox 17 STUFFED TOMATOES (New Style) 4 medium tomatoes Pinch salt 1 cup cubed cooked potatoes V4 cup chopped celery 4 teaspoon grated onion 2 tablespoons chopped anchovies 4 cup mayonaisse or Marr’s Salad Dressing, and lettuce Scoop out tomatoes, sprinkle with salt, invert on plate and chill. Combine potatoes, celery, onion and anchovies with Marr’s Salad Dressing. Fill tomatoes and serve on lettuce leaves. Serves four. Mrs. R. Laudrum, Oberon, Man. CHRISTMAS SALAD 2 medium sized apples, diced 1 cup raw cranberries put through food chopper Juice and rind of 1 orange V6 cup sugar or less Let stand two hours. Dissolve 1 raspberry flavored jelly powder according to package . directions. Let cool partially then add the diced fruit, orange juice and rind, also sugar. Turn into mold or individual molds. Chill until firm. Unmold and turn out on lettuce leaves or on shredded lettuce. Serve with plenty of Marr’s Wonder Whip Salad Dressing. Mrs. P. Mulgrew, Winnipeg, Man. JELLY WALDORF SALAD oe 1 package lemon jelly powder 2 cups hot water ; 4 teaspoons vinegar 1 cup diced celery 1 cup diced apple lf cup nut meats if available V4 teaspoon salt Y{ cup Marr’s Old Fashion Boiled Salad Dressing Dissolve jelly powder in hot water, add vinegar and 4 teaspoon salt. Chill until slightly thickened. Season celery and apply with Y% teaspoon salt; fold-into slightly thickened jelly, add nuts. Add the dressing mixing well. Turn into wet mold. Chill until firm.
